Evolution of Every NFL Team’s EVERY Stadium | NFL Explained

As you take a journey back in time to visit your favorite team’s home stadiums, please keep in mind that we did not include international games as part of this video. Also, our maps and stadium “chips” are meant to help guide the story. The “chips” are markers and are not always meant to be exact replicas of actual stadiums; the maps are meant to be a “generic” representation of where the stadiums are located. And do us a favor, please load up the comments section with your favorite memories and stories of all the stadiums you’ve been to. Give everyone your top 5 favorite stadiums while you’re at it! And most importantly, enjoy getting to learn about the rich history of all the places NFL teams have played over the years!
The NFL Throwback is your home for all things NFL history.

The NFL started it's decline when it thought it's teams were assets to the cities where they were located. Demanding tax payer money to support them set them up for future fan disenchantment. Today they are experiencing fan loss at unprecedented levels. Entertainment businesses became too arrogant.

I loved this so much! Thank you. My favorite Stadium experience (I've visited 14 so far) has to be Mile High. Being a Jacksonville Jaguar fan I was there in '96-'97 season, when they defeated the #1 seed Denver Broncos to go to the AFC championship! Incredible game & experience. I still gets chills thinking about it (that one time we won Ha!).

The NFL should be embarrassed with how many fanbases they screwed over like my old team the Chargers (now an Eagles fan), the Raiders, Rams. Relocations like this ruin communities and tear fanbases apart.

I definitely had a blast watching this entire thing and learning a lot of new things I didn't know as well as things I already did know. I have one criticism about something that I feel like should have been mentioned though because I'm sure there's a lot of people who actually don't know this. Once the Oakland raiders left the coliseum to move to Las Vegas that ended the final multi-sport stadium now the open coliseum is home to just the Oakland A's who play baseball as opposed to having to share it with the Raiders.

The only NFL game I got to see was one in the "Ol' Sombrero" of Tampa Stadium; I think around 1992 or so(?), right around Christmas time when the Bucs played against the Packers. Tickets were practically being given away, because my whole family -- my dad, mom, sis and I, along with the grandparents, our aunt and her two boys, and my uncle and his three kids -- all went to watch them play. I was a die-hard Bucs fan then (still am), but was disappointed not by the loss to the Packers that day, but for the fact the family wanted to leave before the end of the 3rd quarter. I'm still hoping to someday witness a Bucs game in Ray-Jay!

From what I understand is that the team owners can extort money from the local and state taxpayer's to pay for the new stadiums the owners want. Otherwise the owners will move to a more accommodating city willing to pay for their new stadiums taxpayer's be damned. I believe decades ago Congress left them exempt loopholes from any wrongdoing on their extortion activity practices. The owners have easily become billionaires because of this disgusting tax break extortion scam. But I love my football!!!!
