526hp is not modest for a NA car in 2021. Its actually the highest hp car you can buy NA thats American. There are 6 cars with higher hp NA which all are foreign cars. Torque is where it lacks

The Barlow exhaust sounds horrible change it back to the gt350r exhaust, you will enjoy the sound of the stock shelby exhaust a lot more. I have a 2018 Shelby GT350 and the stock sounds much better.

Never, never buy a track car. It is beat. Sure, you could replace every bearing, bushing, gear and engine, but the body is still beat. Think about all the flexing that body has been through lap after lap. Don't do it. Buy one that somebody forgot to drive and save yourself a huge headache.

I never would have drained the brake system that's ignorant. It just pick up the appropriate tools to block the lines while you're changing the calipers over put it on there then believe the system from there you would Deuce area through that master cylinder and the ABS unit if it has one you can cause all kinds of hate and discontent for having to rebelieve the system if it's got rubber hoses you can buy block off tools to put a little pressure on them to block those with no issue. Then you replace your stock components and go about your business by bleeding it with that vacuum tool move silly way to do it and a great way to cause all kinds of hate and discontent to cook in the brake system. And that's 30 plus years of working on cars experience talking.

lets be honest here, the mods didnt devalue the car, the owner just sold it for an absolute bargin xD then you ruined what is a piece of art for a few grand extra money. then you painted some OEM calipers that didnt need painting at all you rubbed all the issues off then you said the OEM suspension chip was better than the performance one that was 'too soft' im baffled.

Man I love the GT350/R, but that exhaust make it sound like a Honda with a fart can. I wouldnt care how much a stock system is, I would sell the Kooks and put a stock set up on it, quickly...

Find another gt350r owner that wants to upgrade to that exhaust, sell it to them and put you getting their stock exhaust as part of the deal. Done. ...And then you can sell the portion of the stock exhaust you still have too.

Hey guy - I noticed on several of your videos you use a floor Jack on grass - be sure and remember that floor Jack's need to be able to roll forward as they go up - if ur gonna work on grass u should put that Jack on some thick plywood - also u need to use a Jack stand when ur in a position where the car can fall on you... all that is keeping that car in the air is a Chinese made oring ... you dont want to film yourself getting killed because of stupidity.... like ur videos - I just bought 2 - 1990 Mercedes 300SL convertible with hard tops...

For the exhaust I would remove mid pipe and muffle and get a corsa exhaust system. That is just my opinion.

I would keep the exhaust the way it is and leave the short throw shifter, Sam. Another thought is adapt some of the factory parts to the custom system to make use of the function you wish to have with the exhaust.

That is a lot of miles on a collector car. Exotic cars really drop after 4000 miles. (Lambo’s Ferrari) Porsche’s are considered high mileage at 20,000 mile. I have owned several exotics. Tired of the expensive yearly registration, insurance, maintenance. I own Tesla’s now that are faster but they are not exclusive but no maintenance is nice.

Looking at this from a pure collectible standpoint, your opinion is correct. This car is meant to be raced. The brake upgrade is related to braking in corners. Brembos suck. I would changed the exhaust not the short throw. They are definitely better than the stock sets.

Whoever bought that car before you tried to “civilize” it....

I have to agree on the LTH, when putting an exhaust or LTH's on the 350's they end up sounding just like a LTH mustang gt 5.0 and loses that insane voodoo sound

I would not remove the exhaust. Yes I know it sounds better with stock. But it’s nice it’s give you a little performance boost! I have a bmw 550i and I Striaght piped it myself and it was fairly easy but did take some time! Plus it gave me some more boost!

Why the f did you drain the brake lines? Just put pressure on the brake pedal, closing all the brake lines and you will only get a small drip as you remove the line. Then you wont have to air out the entire system

That’s an awesome Mustang. One of my friends has a Mustang 55 and they are brilliant cars. I’d say keep the headers and fit the standard back boxes. It’ll still be a great noise.
