@herogibson I totally disagree. The media rips Michigan and Harbaugh no matter what, good or bad. The team right now that the media has wet dreams about is Ohio State and I'm not just saying that because I like Michigan. The media will defend the mistakes Ohio State make on the field. When Michigan makes mistakes, they get ripped apart. Even Alabama gets ripped and they've won 5 championships in the last 10 years. It's pathetic. @Doug Smith yeah i dont know what exactly is at play here. maybe because he has done so well recruiting? but, thats a moot point because 0% of the players that he signs end up living up to their potential. thats a major indictment on the coaching staff. but yeah.. loses to osu every year, hes like .500 against sparty i think, 1-4 in bowl games iirc... he must have pictures of some pretty powerful people or something... or the athletic department just doesn't see themselves as a national power in football anymore. i doubt thats the case though.

OSU will put up about 50 points in the first half and then they will come out in the second half and fall asleep and let you catch-up to where it's a 7 to 14 point game. They did this with Penn State and Indiana, if they make it to the playoffs they will get blown out playing like this.

@herogibson ask any football coach. If its a 1 possession game its a winnable game for either team. These were winnable games for michigan. Michigan is clearly better under Harbaugh than hoke. Talent wise, statistically, recruit ranks, NFL turnouts, everything. So this team has a better chance to win than the teams that lost by a few points.

Rutgers continues to be competitive but also continues to lose tight games. In order to recruit top talent they have to learn to finish. Wins are remembered. Close games are forgotten.

Joe Milton has to be one of the most overrated player in Michigan history I remember during the off-season people were hyping him up.
