And the moment, PC was starting to grow more stronger and stronger by silently in the game industry, PS4 could have won at the time, but it end up during the middle of PS3 and XBox 360 lifespan, many console players started to move onto PC zone, including me... I still remembered I bought the PS4 Pro before 2 weeks The Last of Us Part 2 launch, and sold it immediately after done the game...XBox already admit the loss of console against PC, that's why XBox Game Pass introduced to PC, have coop relationship with the PC made them have more surviving rate rather than keeping on releasing XBox new console... And...PlayStation was stubborn too, but the growing on PC won't stop and don't wait for console, their PS4 were immediate dead compared to any mid end PC, the only things they have are exclusives, but players really don't mind it...so here we are, Sony intended to port more and more exclusive games to Steam(Which the platform has the most amount of players nowadays).. 1 : they can get more sales by letting PC players that never buy PlayStation to experience games they never play before... 2 : they wanna drag more PC players to PlayStation, like what they did to Crash Bandicoot, the remaster trilogy out on Steam, then the race and 4th sequel ain't likely port to Steam, what they thought was to trick PC players to PlayStation, but obviously they will be failed from my perspective... The truth is, if Sony keep releasing exclusives onto Steam, they will have tremendously amount of players loss that will go to PC zone, they won't dead yet since there are great amount of PlayStation games to be sell on Steam...but for my opinion, PS"6" might still be a thing, but a 7 or 8 won't be there, they are slowly walk into their death PS5 isn't so powerful as they mentioned and listed, a GTX 1660 Super can easily beat it, don't compare the games with PC, a lot of PS5 games have lose of many effects and graphics in game... 1. Anisotrophic Filtering doesn't seem always 8x in their games, which we always use 16x on PC 2. The resolution is still accurate cause many of them still in the old gen era, u will see in the upcoming year that games will be like use only 900p in 1080p resolution 3. Anti Aliasing never been used high setting in PlayStation games 4. There are many effects and particle always missing in PlayStation games Upon all mentioned above, those are really intensive performance eating on PC, if they used that all in PlayStation games, u will see how shit even PS5 I as PC player now, really happy all games are coming to Steam that I will definitely buy it all, but u know, what issues will appear after then... Anyway, Happy Gaming whatever platforms u choose to play games...

I had 2 Xbox 360 both died. I bought it from the gray market in the country I was a teenager and didn't had idea of warranty and I lost lots of money on both the consoles. My brother bought PS3 in 2007 and it died in 2015. SO yes PS3 was way much sturdy than xbox 360. The only reason xbox 360 failed was RROD. The initial years were enought to make customers turn away from the console. After the 360 I never bought any other console till 2020. I only used PC.

I was admittedly team PS3 even I got the 360 first. I just didn't like the 360's hardware. It was too loud, the power supply was too bulky, and my console kept crashing. It's all broken now, but my PS3 still works to this day. It's a good thing my Xbox One can play 360 games, so there is no major loss for me.

The first phat PS3 had a design flaw that caused overheating issues. The slim model was much cheaper and I still play it almost everyday to this day. I also like the fact that I can play PS1 games on it or that I can watch DVD's and blu-rays on it.

It’s hard to emphasize how important the Xbox 360 was to gaming. I agree to most that PlayStation probably won this debate, but what the Xbox 360 has done to gaming connectivity cannot be understated. (No not kinect.) Good vid but I wish you emphasized more on the impact of Xbox 360 on the American market. If you didn’t have an Xbox 360, you were honestly just missing out.

Xbox 360 and Quest 2 same thing. They launch their products prematurely resulting in tons of design problems, issues, ... The Japanese are much better in terms of quality control, design, ... The Japanese are much more serious when it comes to gaming.

PS3 is still one of my favorite consoles, though I started with the slim, and now have a super-slim. I need to find another new one for backup in the event this one goes out (I've had it like 5 years)

Let's be honest xbox won this generation, They led for years! Xbox live was far superior, the controller was light years better, the games looked better & the Microsoft exclusives were solid plus call of duty one full month early DLC access Took Playstation a whole new console in 2009 & years to catch up. Most people (including myself) used a ps3 because it was the cheapest bluray player. I loved the ps3 but the 360 was just so much more fun

The Xbox360 really nailed it that Generation.. I ALWAYS own all consoles as I’m a gamer Not a pretend employee/stock holder of any company.. But I will say that Sony treats exclusive quality 100X’s better then Microsoft.. Esp Now.. ***i really MISS the PS3 feature where u idle on ur installed game and it plays a video clip with sound of said game.. My god what a feature... -the Xbox 360 power Brick was atrocious!!! I also liked the PS3 store a lot.. Xbox360 had a really cool feature where you could jus view ur wishlist.Yeah it’s a feature now but it’s nowhere near as good... -the Xbox360 CHROME CONTROLLER was the absolute best of that design. Then and now.. The CHROME (purple) is still to this day my PC controller of choice.. FYI = The Chrome controller did what Tne Elite did but without the uber expensive pars and mediocre quality. it enhanced the Dpad and the axis and triggers were improved.. The Elite is/was a POS !! The LB and then RB w Just broke off..And revealed a very flimsy cheap plastic clamp that broke... Unacceptable for. $180 controller...whatevs... One thing that pisses me off is games I own digitally on PS3 do not carry over to PS4.. Wtf!! Even though the PS4 store sells that exact game.. BSgreed!! And Microsoft/Xbox is no better... I owe JAY a thank you for letting me know that I’m only hurting myself with being LOAYAL to a company (I was PS2/Sony loyal/and anti OG Xbox and it was/embarrassing.. I cringe remembering how shameful I was and how I only hurt myself.. Wtf!! I missed out on 3 years of OGxbox. And I was really into EA sports games. Esp Madden and Hockey. There are 4 PS3s in my family, only one of them was used to play less than 10 games total, the rest were blu-ray players.

They will not really form studios themselves or make their own IP's, instead they will buy out talent, bribe developers, or even buy existing IP's to deny other platforms access. Microsoft bought Bungie and made the game Xbox exclusive. -Assassin's creed was going to be Playstation exclusive. -GTA IV was bought out of exclusivity, and money thrown at Rockstar to make timed-exclusive expansions. -Final Fantasy was bought out of exclusivity. -Devil May Cry 4 was originally PS3 exclusive. -Resident Evil was originally Playstation exclusive. -Rareware was bought up, including the Banjo-Kazooie license. -Bethesda has been bought up, meaning all Bethesda IP's like the Elder Scrolls are now Microsoft property.

I was a big fan of the 360 and the original xbox and i was uninterested in the one. My brother bought the one and I got the ps4 after seeing pewdiepie playing infamous second son and i saw how beautiful the graphics look and how awesome the game was i didnt go back. Since my brother had the one and i go downstairs to play occasionally i hated how the controller felt in my hand it felt way to big and really uncomfortable

Both consoles were amazing in their own way. PERIOD. The 360/ps3 era was great. I was always a PlayStation guy so when the 360 I didn’t really care at the time about it. but I didn’t get a PlayStation until like almost a year after it’s release and loved it but for some reason everyone and I mean absolutely everyone I knew had a Xbox 360. So I had to switch and ever since I’ve been mostly an Xbox guy but I did buy a PS4 few years after it’s release. I didn’t realize how much of a comeback PlayStation made though. That’s fucking wild!!!

The PS1 and PS2 were such amazing consoles at the time, so it's such a shame that the PS3 had such massive issues due to company issues as well as functionality. The same could be said for the 360's issues, but thankfully both Sony and Microsoft got their act together for the next generation. PS4 and Xbox One were both very good consoles ^_^

The Dreamcast, PS2, & Xbox360 are my top 3 consoles of all time. I've always looked at the Xbox360 as the next gen to the Sega Dreamcast. The 360 gave me the same feeling that the dreamcast gave me when I saw the graphical leap from the PS1. The PS2 had an insane game library. The 360 had a great library but the graphics, gameplay, smooth performance was mind boggling. I feel like Microsoft pushed the 360 more than the PS3. Every store I went in always had an 360 on display for you to play. What put the xbox on the same playing field is when they started making some games that were only for Playstation on both systems. When they allowed games like GTA Available for both consoles, it was a wrap

i had a ps2 for my 1st consolde but the 360 blew the ps3 out the water the ps3s UI was terrible the 360 had a weird UI at 1st but they upgraded it several times and truely the xbox was better in all aspects but the xbox kinda bombed to the PS4 the ps4 is the best console out rn but currently i game on PC now lol no PS5 for me (or not yet at least lol)

Man xbox 360 won this one u said ps3 had tons of exclusives but none of ps3's exclusive were heavy hitters for the first 7 years or so Halo 3 outsold uncharted 2 god of war 3 Resistance 1 and 2 and killzone combined These games were good and technical marvels but none of them were system sellers like halo 3 selling 15 million copies And halo reach continued that legacy selling 11 or so million copies Then halo 4 sold around 10 million Odst sold 7 million (same as uncharted 2) Xbox 360 also had gears of war which was also one of the highest selling games that generation I feel like u undermine the xbox 360 and its library of games
