In the lyrics of this song you say that Jesus Christ was whipped 39 times. I lovingly disagree. Let us look to the Holy Word of God, and pray to the Lord Jesus Christ that He would speak the truth to our hearts, that we may further know the great depths of His love for us. Amen. Is it not true that the Lord Jesus Christ paid our price in full? Doesn’t this mean that He would have been whipped the full forty times and not minus one? If Jesus Christ was whipped forty times with a scourge that would have been like being whipped 120 times. This is because a scourge is a three pronged weapon and not a one prong regular whip. I believe Jesus Christ is the only one who lived past being whipped forty times with a scourge. Why would God do this? I believe the Lord wants the world to know that even if we wanted to pay our own price we couldn’t. No one else would have lived past being whipped forty times with a scourge to pay the rest of the price that we all deserved to pay. The price that Jesus Christ paid in full for all of us. How would it be possible that Jesus Christ could live past being whipped forty times with a scourge? #1 Because He is the Almighty God and with God all things are possible (MAT 19:26) #2 Love never fails (1 COR 13:8) Isn't it true that everything Jesus Christ did was a miracle that only God and no one else could do? Why is it that the apostle Paul was whipped,” From the Jews five times I received forty stripes minus one”. Is it possible that they did this because they were cruel and they wanted him to live and suffer through the pain of being whipped 39 times? Is it also possible that they knew that if they whipped him forty times he would die? Precious Lord Jesus, I know you gave everything to save me from death and hell. You are everything to me too.

Looking back at the habits I developed in that mindset...it makes me hang my head in shame. My Grandparents divorced, my parents divorced..it only made sense I was seeking that “intimacy”...any intimacy would do the job.. Habits I developed in my youth, overflowed and poured over into my Adulthood..almost cost me my marriage, my relationship with my children..it almost cost me my LIFE.. 🩸🩸🩸🕊🕊🕊 I don’t write this, in search of pity.. I don’t share this, to tell you a story.. YOU ARE READING THIS RIGHT HERE AND NOW IN THIS MOMENT, because YOU made a choice, to watch this video and scroll through the comments, like you have always done. But this time is different, because THIS is the moment someone brought you the good word 🙏🏽 That there is a God that sits on high, and he is waiting for you.
