This minimalist trend is one of biggest BS I've ever seen in recent years. MNmorers go: "Look at my minimalist closet", and the guys shows like 50 shirts, 30 pairs of shoes, 25 pairs of pants... Dude, if you're a minimalist, you would 7 shirts, two pairs of shoes and two pairs of shoes.

This wasn’t a doco about minimalism it was a doco about The Minimalists in identical terms as the last doco!! So boring and disappointing. LOVED your video to know I’m not alone in my disappointment. I recommend the documentary The True Cost if you want to learn more about the dangers of fast fashion and consumerism generally, and of course Marie Kondo for a how to of minimalism.

I love the message of minimalism, but of course there's always people who took it to the extreme🙄

It reminds me of the saying "money doesn't buy happiness". It comes across as patronizing and happiness isn't that simple. If you need a doctor, shelter, food, etc., yes money can buy happiness. Minimalism can cross into the same propaganda, excusing the decline in wages and assets. The movement became popular because younger generations are facing lower standards of living than previous decades.

6:00 I actually went to a a church where we had a substitute pastor and the entire time, bragged about how big his house is, how beautiful his wife is, how great his new tv was, the amazing parties he hosted. He stretched a 3 minute song to 15 minutes just so he could flex his singing ability in a solo that consisted of the same 8 words for 10 whole minutes. My whole family just got up and left when he started another verse

minutes. And even with the guest speakers they have, they literally add nothing new, the guest will be interesting and add new info and they go back to shilling their story lol
